GHOST ESTATES are named after the thousands of abandoned housing estates built in Ireland during the "Celtic Tiger" boom years, they formed in March 2010 after the collapse of previous bands SICKBOY & 8BALL. After one year of writing and recording in their Dublin Rehearsal space they have emerged with a self produced 11 track album. The album was mixed by Marc Carolan (MUSE, SNOW PATROL, THE CURE)

The result is a powerful mish mash of different styles blending beats, samples, haunting guitars, marching drums, driving bass and killer melodies. 2011 will see the band take to the road and release a string of single tracks followed by their debut album
