High praise has been heaped on producer JAMES BLAKE following the release of his début album earlier this year. The eponymous début has earned him the runner up spot in both BBC Sound of 2011 and Brit Critics Choice Award 2011.  And his cover of Feist’s Limit to Your Love was declared ‘Hottest Record in the Word’ by Zane Lowe. 

The sublime soundscapes, fuzzed vocal loop, dreamy dubstep, R ‘n’ B samples and unique blips and beeps from the record translate so magically live, as anyone at his sold out Whelan’s show in March can confirm. This is sure to be one for the Electric Picnic live archive.
