It has been a phenomenal 12 months for Dublin’s’ JAMES VINCENT MCMORROW.  Abroad he has been signed by Vagrant Records in America and Believe in Europe while at home his debut album, Early in the Morning, has gone Gold.  He has toured UK, America, and Europe, with his SXSW appearance propelling him on to the Top 10 of Hype Machine Music blog charts. And now he has new fans in the form of Arcade Fire who have invited him to support them at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Canada as well as Jools Holland requested him for Later With… last month.  

Early in the Morning has been described as "Gorgeous" by NME and "Haunting, atmospheric...wintry wistfulness" by the Guardian, and it is without doubt that James Vincent McMorrow is set to make a triumphant return to Electric Picnic.
