Sharon Corr is probably best known as being one quarter of the multi-platinum, internationally renowned family band 'The Corrs’. A band that sold in excess of thirty-five million albums worldwide..and counting.
Now, it is time for Sharon to take centre stage. Her first single as a solo artist is due for imminent release, meanwhile Sharon and her band have been delighting crowds at the Isle of Wight Festival and Glastonbury with a storming set of her new tracks, an odd Corrs favourite and some rocking traditional Irish tunes.
Following the release of her highly acclaimed debut solo album ‘Dream of You’ Sharon brings her collection of beautifully crafted melodic pop gems to the Picnic for the very first time. Sharon worked with an eclectic range of renowned traditional musicians including Davy Spillane, Máirtín O’Connor and Gerry O’Connor and a thrilling collaboration with the legendary Jeff Beck on Dream of You.
