Silent Disco
Silent Disco by 433FM.com (since 2002) has made the concept so famous that it has become a common noun for all dj shows with wireless headphones.
Silent Disco became widely known in The Netherlands with appearances on festivals like Lowlands, Paaspop, Eurosonic/Noorderslag, Dancevalley and Pinkpop.
The European festival line-up in the last years included, among others, Glastonbury (UK), Benicàssim (ESP), Sziged (H), Exit (SRB), T in the Park (SCT), B-Estival (R), Eurockéennes (FR), Novarock (B) & The Edinburgh Fringe (UK).
The Silent Disco Show is touring intercontinental with shows in Brazil, China, Canada, Indonesia, Singapore, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
DJ Steven Guts (Ernst Walgenbach) Inspired by modern electronics, pop, house, hip-hop, new wave, disco and forgotten cheese, he creates sets which are best defined as an exuberant exploration of music. He specializes in the 2 channel switch experience, not considering who the people are listening to, but what.
DJ Tony Carlos (Matthijs Felix) himself isn't sure what his origins are.
Some say he's Italian, some think he's Russian, or is he Japanese? One thing that's certain is that Tony picked up all kinds of different music styles from all over the world, which he combines playing in his sets for the Silent Disco.
In the Silent Disco, everybody who joins in gets given a wireless digital Silent Disco headphone. The sound is superb, as is the spectacle. The radio style DJ show gives a tour through very varied music styles.
