Special Needs
Entrance for people with a disability
There will be a designated entrance for Disabled Access which will lead directly to the dedicated camping and parking area.
If you intend to arrive by car we would ask that you display a disability parking sticker in a visible position so that our parking stewards can see this and direct you to our dedicated parking area. Please note that a European disabled parking sticker or badge displayed in your car is essential if you wish to use disabled parking.
Staff members
Stewards and other staff are aware that not all disabilities are visible; so please make them aware of any needs and they will assist you if they can.
Parking & Camping
A dedicated parking area for people with mobility disabilities is available. Disabled parking and camping are together. This area will be indicated online closer to the event.
Anyone with a disability who wishes to camp in the main camping area are free to do so. However there are limited facilities for festival goers with special needs in this area.
Sanitation
Unisex wheelchair accessible toilets are available. There are 3 special needs toilets in the event arena and one in the camp site. These toilets are reserved for people with disabilities.
Site Accessibility
As with all outdoor music festivals, the ground conditions are subject to the weather and in very wet weather the ground will become muddy. Facilities for festival goers with mobility problems have been arranged to maximise use of the hard ground that does exist. The surface of the site is grass land used for farm grazing and is a relatively hard surface. However, due to the large festival site, it must be noted that there may be significant distances to travel. We recommend you have a companion with you to assist with any difficulties. Our stewards are always on hand to lend a hand also.
Viewing Platforms
Raised viewing platforms are located in a number of different areas of the festival site for viewing the main stages. The access ramps are in accordance with disability regulations and in addition there will be stewards present to assist people in wheelchairs to access and emergency exit. The viewing platforms are solely for the use of people with a disability and their assisting companion. There is shelter on the viewing platform in the Main Arena.
Diabetics
First Aid posts will make private space available for diabetics needing to inject insulin. Needles should be declared to security at the entrance gates.
