The Kanyu Tree are three brothers from the west of Ireland in pursuit of the perfect pop song. Influenced by Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Steely Dan, Tears for Fears and Phoenix, they have released two singles this year: 'Radio' and ‘Shelf Life’. The band's Electric Picnic debut rounds off a summer-long spin around the festivals. Their debut album, 'People Street', was co-produced by the band and Ali Shaheed Muhammed from A Tribe Called Quest and will be released in late September.
