Northern Irish punk icons The Undertones will perform their classic 1979 self-titled debut album in it’s entirety at this year’s Electric Picnic. Considered to be one of the best albums of all time, their debut album launched them as major artists across the UK and Ireland earned them a spot supporting The Clash across the States. It’s well documented that John Peel was a huge admirer of the band and he gave them a huge helping hand from the start that in turn helped the young band land a spot on Top Of The Pops and the rest is history.
