Willy Mason
Willy Mason has become something of a rare thing these days - a young socially conscious songwriter delivering wry, intelligent lyrics with an ease of someone far beyond his years. Early comparisons were of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cashbut Mason never fit in to any mould. His debut album Where The Humans Eat came out in 2005 and charted high in the UK albums chart as well as it's leading single Oxygen. In 2007, he released his next LP If The Ocean Gets Rough which was even more succesfull than his debut.
Folk has long needed a modern hero to fly the flag, and Willy Mason has the makings of a true icon.
