Kicking off opening night at Casa BACARDÍ, Kilkenny native DJ and Producer, SHEE is taking to the stage at 8:30pm, bringing his own style of Disco House and Techno before Friday’s headliner LF System, the chart-topping Scottish production duo, takes to the stage at 10pm for a two-hour set. Support throughout Day One comes from Gash Collective, the Irish collective that provides a platform for female and LGBTQ+ DJ’s and producers, at 4pm. Dublin based DJ Justyna Koss, brings her electronica vibes at 5:30pm, while the George and sweatbox resident DJ Karen takes the festival up a notch at 7pm.
One of Ireland’s most successful duos Boots & Kats, who have become one of the most established touring artists in Irish electronic music will be headlining the Casa Bacardí stage on Saturday at 9:30pm, followed by DJ Legend Al Gibbs, at 11:30pm, whose remix dance track Santran reached Number 6 in the Irish national charts and Number 1 in the dance charts. Support on the night comes from Dublin based Riff Shop, who will once again bring their unique and fresh sound to the Casa Bacardí stage from 8pm, and RTÉ 2FM DJ Tara Kumar at 7pm. Throughout the second day, support also comes from the Ethiopian born DJ whose distinctive Ethiopian sound blends funk, jazz, and soul Hewan Mulugeta at 12pm, Mutant Vinyl at 1:30pm, Ricky Chong, known for mixing house and disco records at 2:30pm, Queen Beatz, who brings her passion for electronic music to Electric Picnic at 4pm and Kildare natives, Mix + Fairbanks with their electronic disco sounds at 5:30pm.
Closing out the festival weekend at Casa BACARDÍ is another Irish talent, DJ Deece who brings his Dance style to this year’s stage from 10:30pm with support from Dusky, the English electronic music duo from 9pm and one of Ireland’s best-known DJs Marcus O’Laoire from 7:30pm. Support across the final day comes from Bedlam DJs at 12pm, Eamonn ‘THEJABBAWOOKIE’ Barrett from 1pm, The X Collective from 2pm, Ben Bix from 3pm, Fehdah from 4:30pm, and Sally Cinnamon, who has been DJing for over 20 years, and Orange Tree Edits DJ and Producer, Jimmy Rouge from 5pm with an exclusive B2B set.
