The GreenCrafts Village is a hidden gem in the Main Arena (near the Main Stage) where you can take out from the festival frenzy, and create beautiful items with natural materials to take home as festival souvineers. Try-out green, healthy, sustainable and nourishing activities in the festival’s only totally off-grid, non-electric area.
With over 20 workshops to choose from daily – there’s green woodwork, jewellery making, fresh flower crowns, copper-smithing, sewing, organic skin products, willow-work, printing and loads more €3 workshops where you take home what you make and to “Have-a-Go” is free.
As the leading collective of craft making and green thinking at festivals, the organisers founded the first ever GreenCrafts field at Glastonbury 30 years ago and now gather special craft makers in huge skill-share villages combining green making, thinking and creation.
Everyone is welcome (from total beginner, accommpannied kids and the more experienced) to make beautiful things with raw and natural materials, using sustainable and endangered skills, that will nourish your energy and green planet vision.
Come regain your energy through making, and create beautiful Picnic souvineers to take home for yourself or friends. It’s a unique experience.
